11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Come get a great haircut for $75 (normal price $45 – 65 men; $75 – 90 women). 100% of the proceeds go to towards Lucas’ medical expenses. Men, women and kids are all welcome!
It’s the simplest of expressions that has come to mean so much to us over the past nearly three months. But thank you is also simply the most appropriate phrase. Thank you is defined as a “conversational expression of gratitude” and gratitude is what we feel first and foremost for everything all of you, our amazing community of angels, have endlessly, selflessly, openly, lovingly, generously provided for our entire family during this completely incomprehensible time. And now you have all come together once more with this celebration of Lucas’ spirit to provide for us once again.
So, thank you… most sincerely and appreciatively and with our utmost gratitude.
From definite believers in Angels on Earth,
Celeste Jackson and David Peterka
We would like to thank our community for their tremendous outpouring of support. Our fundraiser would not have been possible without them.
Thanks to the people and businesses who donated refreshments and services to the event:
We have received many wonderful items for our fundraiser on Thursday evening. We are so grateful to the community for their outpouring of support. All the raffle items have been donated by local businesses, artists and craftspeople. Here are some of the highlights.

Lucas is a fighter and continues to amaze us all with his strength and spirit. But make no mistake, the amazing care Lucas has and continues to receive is expensive. Please help us offset the burden the family has to bear. Continue reading

Our friend, 11 year-old Lucas Peterka, is a brilliantly smart, funny, very deep and soulful kid with lots of silly ideas when he plays with his friends. He is camera-shy, with an intensely mature mind, and he is oftentimes just plain goofy. He loves to read. Continue reading
